01Who We Are

Image of Hope Design is a creative branding and design studio based in Melbourne, Australia (ABN 20 404 428 157).

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Image of Hope Design.

02The Information We Collect

We only collect the personal information we need to respond to you and to deliver our services. Depending on how you contact us, this may include:

  • Contact forms (home and Branding pages): your name, email address, subject and message.
  • Annual Report & Memorandum enquiry form: your name, business or organisation, email address, phone number (optional), project type, preferred software or format, approximate number of pages, project deadline, project details and your confirmation that we may contact you.
  • Brand Audit: your answers are scored in your own web browser and are not sent to us unless you choose to send an enquiry. If you do, we receive your name, business name, email address, message, and your Brand Audit answers and scores.
  • When you become a client: the information needed to deliver and invoice your project, such as billing details, and any content, images or materials you supply for the project.

We don't ask for sensitive information (such as health information or political or religious beliefs). Please don't include it in your messages.

You can browse our website without telling us who you are.

03How We Collect Information

We collect personal information directly from you, for example when you:

  • Complete a form on our website.
  • Email or call us.
  • Meet with us or engage our services.

If someone else gives us your information, for example a colleague who lists you as a project contact, we'll handle it in line with this policy.

04How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide quotes or proposals.
  • Plan, deliver and manage your project.
  • Send invoices and manage payments.
  • Keep business records and meet our legal obligations.
  • Improve our services and website.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sending an enquiry does not add you to a marketing or mailing list. We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

05Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only where it's needed for the purposes above. This may include:

  • Formspree, the service that processes our website forms and delivers enquiries to our inbox.
  • Our website hosting, email and cloud storage providers.
  • Accounting and payment providers, when you become a client.
  • Printers and other suppliers, only where needed for your project and with your knowledge.
  • Government or regulatory bodies, where we are required or authorised by law.

We expect service providers to protect your information and to use it only to provide their services to us.

06Information Stored Overseas

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia. For example, Formspree is based in the United States, so website form submissions are processed there. Other providers, such as email and cloud storage services, may also store data overseas.

We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers that protect personal information appropriately.

07Our Website, Cookies and Third-Party Services

Our website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.

Our website uses Google Fonts to display text. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information. Google's use of this information is covered by Google's own privacy policy.

Our website may link to other websites. We're not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, so please review their privacy policies.

If we introduce website analytics or other tracking in the future, we will update this policy.

08Security and Storage

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include using secure, reputable service providers and limiting access to people who need it.

No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information you send to us online.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including to meet legal and tax record-keeping requirements. When it's no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

09Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, out of date or incomplete.
